We have taken great care to update and improve all of the information on this site, and will continue to work aggressively on updating the site to keep you better informed and to provide essential information. Longmont’s FOP Lodge was established in 2002, and we are the officially recognized representative of Longmont’s law enforcement personnel. We work tirelessly on behalf of our membership.
Longmont FOP Lodge 6 works to promote a more personal and efficient cooperation among law enforcement officers in Longmont, Colorado. We seek to foster the enforcement of the law and the promotion of order. We promote social, charitable, and educational activities among all law enforcement officers. We endeavor to increase the efficiency of law enforcement and more firmly establish the confidence of the public in the service provided by our members who are dedicated to the protection of life and property.
The Fraternal Order of Police is the largest law enforcement organization in the United States and Colorado. The FOP has been in existence since 1915, and now has over 377,000 members and over 2,200 lodges nationally. The FOP is a non-profit organization made up of law enforcement officers volunteering their time for the betterment of law enforcement and their community. We are the voice of those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities. We are committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those we serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation.
