Yesterday, June 6th, Colorado Governor Hickenlooper signed into law Colorado FOP's HB 14-1343 enacting the Peace Officer PTSD Task Force.  The bill was sponsored in the Colorado House by Rep Jonathan Singer (D) and Rep Jared Wright (R) along with Sen Lois Tochtrop (D) in the Senate. Read More...

Colorado Senate Passes FOP PTSD Bill. Next Stop Governor's Desk
The Colorado FOP’s Peace Officer PTSD Legislative Task Force bill has just passed the Colorado Senate on a bi-partisan vote of 25 to 10. This comes on the heels of last Wednesday’s Colorado House vote passing the bill 44 to 20. Fifteen additional Senate co-sponsors (both Republican & Democrat) joined the bill.
