Denver Sheriff & Public Safety Officials Are Focus of Corruption Allegations
As the State FOP has said publically many times, there are serious integrity issues in the Hancock administration. In particular within the Department of Safety structure. It starts at the top with Director O’Malley and branches down into the upper levels of management in both the Police and Sheriffs’ Departments. Read More...

Officers Express Serious Problems within Commerce City Police Department – Disturbing Survey Results
Since the appointment of Troy Smith (pictured right) as Chief of Police of the Commerce City Police Department in January, 2013, there has been a continuous erosion of employee morale, an increase in unnecessary high levels of work related stress within the workforce, and a deterioration of labor management relations between the chief and Commerce City FOP Lodge 19. NATIONAL FOP PRESIDENT CANTERBURY'S RESPONSE TO PRESIDENT OBAMA'S TELEVISED REMARKS
On Tuesday, April 28th, President Obama made comments about the riots in Baltimore and in an effort to keep a discussion of the many topics he touched on open, I want to offer the following remarks. President Obama explained that the DOJ was on the ground in Baltimore and is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Freddie Gray. Read More...
No Apology
I am a professional police officer in the United States, highly trained and well equipped, backed up by my brothers and sisters behind the badge. I work in your city, in your community, in your neighborhood. I'm on duty 24 hours each day, every day of the week, weekends, holidays, everyday of the year, spending precious time away from my family gatherings. I do not take a day off. Read More...
Our Guardians - "The Unsung Heroes of Public Safety" - Thank You
I posted this picture one year ago today. As we finish up the week we recognize 911 Dispatchers and I sit to reflect in my almost 25 years of doing this job. When I started this job I wanted to get my foot in the door to be a cop, I sure am glad I changed my mind and stuck with being a dispatcher. It has been a good ride and a great career. Read More...

Why The F.O.P.?
"No one knows the dangers and the difficulties faced by today's police officers better than another officer, and no one knows police officers better than the F.O.P."

FRANK GALE SUPPORT

In what has been an ongoing effort to seriously weaken or destroy the Denver Sheriffs Deputies FOP Lodge 27, the City of Denver manufactured an internal case and fired one the FOP’s top leaders and most outspoken advocates for union rights. Frank Gale is fighting this action and the FOP's attorneys are certain Frank will prevail.  It will be a long hard fight.  In response to requests from across the country a support fund has been established to accept donations to provide Frank financial aid through this difficult financial time.  Please give what you can.
