Colorado FOP President in Letter to Denver Mayor Hancock Demands Outside Investigation of Corruption
An outside investigation of this affair by an independent agency must happen. And if that investigation reveals additional unethical acts or corruption those should also be addressed. You just spent several hundred thousand taxpayer dollars having an independent review and investigation conducted of the Denver Sheriffs Department. Surely the same standard as to why that was done would apply to allegations of this nature involving your Director of Safety. For that and other reasons involving public trust we would find it difficult to believe that you would not want an outside investigation. Read More...

Denver Sheriff & Public Safety Officials Are Focus of Corruption Allegations

Why The F.O.P.?
"No one knows the dangers and the difficulties faced by today's police officers better than another officer, and no one knows police officers better than the F.O.P."

In what has been an ongoing effort to seriously weaken or destroy the Denver Sheriffs Deputies FOP Lodge 27, the City of Denver manufactured an internal case and fired one the FOP’s top leaders and most outspoken advocates for union rights. Frank Gale is fighting this action and the FOP's attorneys are certain Frank will prevail.  It will be a long hard fight.  In response to requests from across the country a support fund has been established to accept donations to provide Frank financial aid through this difficult financial time.  Please give what you can.
